LISTINGS

Server / Bartender – Clubhouse- Barn- Inn

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS (Full Time & Part Time & Seasonal)

The Server position are responsible for the dining room services in any of our restaurants. Walden offers exceptional training and development to shape Dining Room professionals. This position offers exciting pay, flexible scheduling and rewarding benefits — and a meaningful career with Walden. This position offers full-time and part-time hours with AM or PM Shifts. Applicants must be willing to work weekends, holidays and varied hours. May have knowledge in liquor and drinks. Customer service oriented team player with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude. Candidate should be friendly and have a welcoming smile. Excellent communication skills with guests and co-workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
 Greets the table and keeps section running smoothly
 Interacts with guests during service offering a high-quality experience
 Clears and resets tables
 Expedites delivery of plates to correct table
 Being responsive and proactive to guest needs
 Presents, carries and runs food by restaurant standards
 Provides accurate descriptions of menu items and courses
 Assists with Food and Wine events in any dining capacity
 Demonstrates strong organizational skills
 Follows instructions from direct supervisor and communicates progress
 Being responsive and proactive to guest needs
Other duties may be assigned

Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. and or able to carry (10) dinner plates on a tray. Must be able to be on feet for a long period of time. Must be well groomed. Experience is always preferred but not mandatory.

Line Cooks

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS at this time
Knowledge of plan, prep techniques, set-up and grill experience. Must be able to work rotating shifts/flexible hours. Must maintain a clean and sanitary work area and equipment. Must be able to read menus and compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to stand long hours and work in a kitchen. Ability to muti-task in fast paced environment. Experience and/or some Culinary School preferred.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 Prepares food as assigned including basic vegetable preparation, vinaigrettes and salads, stocks, meat fabrication, sauce and other techniques
 Cleans work area and kitchen during and at the end of shift
 Plays a central role in the production of finished dishes during service periods
 Assists with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
 Coordinates production over multiple days and plans for a smooth transition when passing station over to another team member
 Knows basic food product identification
 Maintains organized and sanitary workstation
 Tastes food for quality assurance
 Takes direction and follows recipes
 Plans out day to accomplish multiple tasks

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance in required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interacts with our guests.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
 Culinary degree or certification preferred
 Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures (blanching, sautéing, standard breading)
 Basic knife skills
 Basic kitchen operations experience
 Experience cooking in a high-level kitchen
LANGUAGE SKILLS
 Must be able to read and understand recipes
 Must be able to communicate with other cooks to ensure timely delivery of dishes to guests
 Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members and managers

Maintenance

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS at this time
Knowledge of pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and skills that meets the maintenance supervisors needs. A team oriented player with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude. Excellent communication skills with guests and co-workers. Must be able to lift/carry approximately 100 lbs. Able to handle an extension ladder, reach, climb stairs and the ability to work-varied hours and possible “on call” at times.

Inn Guest Services -Front Desk (FT & PT)

Excellent guest service and communication skills required. Must possess crisp, professional manner. Candidate should be friendly and have a welcoming smile. Ability to muti-task and problem solve. Must have proper phone etiquette. Ability to take phone reservations and describe Walden and all of its services, amenities and community in an exciting way . Provides room service, bartending, hostessing, valet functions, and local transportation needs of guests. Outgoing personality that thrives on exceeding guest satisfaction. Must be well groomed. Work varied hours, shifts, days and holidays.

Housekeeping / Laundry

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS at this time (FT & PT)
Maintains the high quality condition of all Walden facilities that typically include, clubhouse areas, guest rooms/villas, spa, common areas, office areas employee and back of the house areas. Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Must be able to lift 40lbs occasionally. May do some laundry functions of washing, folding and ironing. A team oriented player with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude. Excellent communication skills with guests and co-workers. Must be well groomed. Work varied hours, shifts, days and holiday’s

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 Must be detail-oriented in all cleaning aspects
 Loads supplies for the day
 Attends daily to receive room assignments
 Performs Make-up’s, Turn-over’s, Turndowns in the given time frame
 Maintains the cleanliness and presentation of all common areas
 Brings laundry to the laundry facility
 Restocks all housekeeping closets on the property with amenities and linens as necessary
 Cleans and maintains team member spaces and other office areas including bathrooms and break rooms
 Notifies Maintenance and or Front desk about room issues immediately
 Takes lost and found items from vacant room to the front desk and notify the manager when items are found

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

Lifeguards

Qualifications required include Red Cross Certification. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather. Must work variable hours including weekends. Must understand detailed instructions as well as meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 100+lbs. A team oriented player with a positive attitude a must. Reliable transportation.

Greenskeeper/Landscaping/ Horticulturist

Qualifications required include maintenance or landscaping background. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather. Must work variable hours including weekends. Must understand detailed instructions as well as meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 100+lbs. Experience is a plus. Dishwasher

Qualifications required include maintenance and cleaning of kitchen and common areas. Must be able to work indoors, mop, wash, and scrub all areas. Must work variable hours including weekends. Must understand detailed instructions as well as meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 75lbs. A team oriented player with a positive attitude a must. Must maintain a clean and sanitary work area and equipment. The Dishwasher will be responsible for washing all dishware, utensils, cooking equipment, and any other tools used by the front of house and back of house staff.

Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays

 Responsible for washing, drying and organizing all cooking utensils, storage containers and pots
 Sweeps and mops upon arrival

 Maintains plate cabinets and the pantry in an orderly fashion
 Empties all trash and recycling bins
 Scrubs floors daily

Spa, Massage Therapist

Spa, Front Desk

Salon, Nail Tech

Primary responsibility is to provide professional nail treatments including pampering and therapeutic manicures and pedicures, using the standards detailed by the spa in the most professional manner. It will be the job of the Nail technician to give guests instructions on how to use the products to help them obtain and maintain healthy, beautiful nails both for their feet and hands. Nail techs must understand the importance of punctuality for appointments in the Spa. The nail technicians should be able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Salon, Stylists/Barber

Primary responsibility is to provide professional hair care treatments, using the standards detailed by the spa in the most professional manner. Recommend Hair Care programs and products to be used at home. It will be the job of the Stylists to give guests instructions on how to use the products to help them obtain and maintain the salon look at home. The stylists must understand the importance of punctuality for appointments in the Salon. Stylists should be able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Spa Housekeeping

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full and part-time
Maintains the high quality condition of Spa Walden facilities Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Must be able to lift 40lbs occasionally.
