Policies

RATES, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
Rates are nightly, based on double occupancy, excluding taxes and service charges, and are subject to change. Alternate rates may apply for holidays. Walden requires a deposit of the full evening rate. Deposits can be made with a major credit card. Please note that all daily rates are exclusive of tax, service charge and incidentals. Sales tax (7.25%) and occupancy tax (6%) will be added to you nightly rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to our size we have a strict cancellation policy. All room reservations will be subject to a full evening rate deposit to be charged at the time of booking. This deposit may be charged to a major credit card and is equal to the total room evening rate for the stay. Any reservation canceled within 10 days prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit.

CHILDREN/THIRD GUEST
Children under seven years of age may stay in their parent’s room free of charge. A child or third guest staying in a suite and/or requiring an air mattress will be charged $70 per person, per night. This standard room charge covers breakfasts and the air mattress.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are available for check-in at 4:00 p.m. Departure is at 12 noon. While we make every attempt to accommodate early arrivals, we cannot guarantee room availability before 4:00 p.m. However, we can store your luggage in the event of early arrival or late departure. Inn Walden is a non-smoking facility. Specific handicap accommodations are available.

Dress Code

BARN DINING
Jackets are required for gentlemen.

CLUB WALDEN
Neat acceptable attire is required in all areas of Club Walden. Active wear not permitted.

GOLF COURSE
Club Walden policy requires all players to be neatly dressed.
Our strict dress code policy is as follows:

• For Men: Golf-style shirts with collars tucked into tailored trousers or shorts. Shorts must not be shorter than 3˝ above the knees. Hats are to be worn bill forward.
• For Women: Golf-style shirts with collars with slacks, golf skirts, or shorts. Short shorts or tank tops and tee-shirts are not permitted.
• Denim jeans or workout clothes are not permitted.
• Metal spikes are not permitted.

TENNIS
Proper tennis attire must be worn during play. Rubbersole tennis shoes must be worn on the courts at all times.
