A beautiful home on 322 Equestra South has started this week and we are making substantial progress. The lot has been cleared and we have started to construct the foundation. The foundation is the key to any home. Our plans are carefully mapped out with our engineer. Then our excavator is brought in to dig footers. Once the footers are dug we pour concrete footers which is the start to eventually framing the home. We place concrete block on top of the dried concrete at the bottom of the footer. We usually build the block up a few feet depending on if the home is built “on slab” or if it’s a foundation wall.  Block walls can be anywhere from 8 to 10 feet or just a few feet depending on the plans. Once the block is laid we place premium backfill inside the foundation. Then our plumbers and HVAC trades then start to install the “rough plumbing” of the home.

It starting to get very exciting as this gorgeous home starts to rise from the ground.
