We are so thrilled to announce the outstanding turn out at our 2014 Food & Wine Festival. The event was such a huge success that we plan on making it an annual event. With over 275 guests at our Clubhouse this past Saturday, we want to send out a special thank you to the local community and Walden members for attending and supporting this event. The Food & Wine Festival showcased our top Chefs here at Walden. Chef Thomas Dech has been the Executive Chef of our Barn for over 29 years! Our Barn has been noted in Bon Appetit’s A List for dining and is known around the area for its consistent food and polished service. Chef Pete Dressen, Executive Chef of our Five Diamond Inn Walden and Club House. Saturday was filled with a splash of flavor and freshness while guests were able to travel from tent to tent to experience the delicious pairing of hors d’oeuvre with wine or spirits. From homemade Ohio Pork Fritters to Ohio Maple Crème Brulee our guest enjoyed the scrumptious cuisine.
