I wanted to thank you for the best meal ever! Really. It was New Year’s Eve and I had the salmon in puff pastry. Incredible! I love salmon…but I’m the one that always orders it cooked as plainly as possible with plain streamed vegetables ( I have a terribly reactive belly and the super plain food is the best). So, that night the special sounded so good. I told her …no butter sauce! It came with the butter all over it and she said “the chef says the butter sauce makes the dish!” So true, and it was truly superb.
Bob and I spent nearly a month in France in 2014. We dined in Paris, along the rivers in the Bordeaux area, in the castles in Loire. We had a lot of great food…none as spectacular as my dinner at the club that night! Thank you. If we ever have a party…you’ll be making that dish for us!
We continue to be impressed with the food at the club. We are moving there later this year after being members since the day the club opened! So we will be walking over, often! Also, I encourage you to continue to remind members of your “farm to table” mission. It’s so important.
