With desperate anticipation for spring running rampant among Northeast Ohioans, the Barn, Club, and Inn will be featuring the refreshing Moscow Mule, a cocktail that will surely get everyone in the mood for beautiful weather regardless of what is in store for us.
The Moscow Mule’s claim to fame dates back to 1939 at the Cock’n Bull Pub in Hollywood. Owner Jack Morgan paired up with Smirnoff owner, John Martin, to create a drink that would not only promote Smirnoff vodka, but the bar’s house ginger beer.
It has about a three-minute prep time, which makes it easy and convenient for everyone to try their hand at. With three key ingredients, Rose’s Lime Juice, Smirnoff 21, and ginger beer, this hassle-free refreshment allows you to feel like you are beachside no matter the weather.
2 oz vodka
1 oz Rose’s Lime
Lime wedge for garnish
1)Pour the vodka and lime juice into a highball glass with ice cubes
2)Top off with the ginger beer
3)Garnish with lime wedge
