Wellness on a Darma Level

Walden property, in Northeast Ohio, is making its presence known far and wide in the national yoga scene with its new, yet somewhat ancient approach, to traditional yoga teacher training. Owner and yoga advocate Barrie Rosencrans has high expectations for the newly launched yoga program that offers students an opportunity to take classes on a 100% donation basis, no dirty looks guaranteed.

Traditional yoga teacher training may require a student to take a few weeks off from their lives and dedicate themselves fully to the teachings of a certain guru or lineage. Other teacher training programs may have less regimented schedules, but require a full commitment of tuition which could cost anywhere from $2000-$3500. Rosencrans is a registered dietitian as well as a teacher in the Walden yoga program. As proprietor of the property and the head and heart behind the yoga teacher training, Rosencrans’ main goal is to promote better health and wellness to everyone that Walden can reach.

Walden is best known around Ohio for being a luxury retreat, people come from all over the Midwest to this AAA rated 5 Diamond Inn to experience the world class Spa, fabulous dining, and club amenities. However, the truth is that Walden is a property that wants to connect on a deeper level with those guests that it serves. Walden’s goal is to create long lasting impressions and meaningful encounters for its guest’s by providing engaging, positive and memorable experiences. Walden’s newest addition of the yoga program does this by offering a yoga lifestyle emersion course on a flexible and affordable basis to anyone willing to drop in.
